- Ask carefully the medical history, carefully examine gastrointestinal diseases such as gastritis, colitis, digestive disorders, gastrointestinal tumors ...
- Outlining the indications for testing, ultrasound, and imaging in accordance with clinical symptoms.
- Read the Laboratory & Imaging results carefully to get the correct diagnosis.
- Advise customers carefully before performing gastrointestinal endoscopy.
- Perform digestive endoscopy and perform procedures during digestive endoscopy in accordance with the technical and professional procedures of the Ministry of Health and the Clinic, ensuring customer safety.
- Closely monitor the progress of customers after gastrointestinal endoscopy, early detection and timely treatment of complications after gastrointestinal endoscopy.
- Prescribe medication appropriate to the diagnosis. Thoroughly explain to customers how to use prescription drugs.
- Write a medical report if patient needs to go to the hospital.

Follow the rules/procedures/regulations of the Polyclinic |
- Follow the general rules of the Polyclinic.
- Follow the professional and technical procedures issued by the Polyclinic in medical examination and treatment of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
- Strictly and fully comply with the regulations on recording medical records of the Ministry of Health and the Polyclinic.
- Strictly comply with regulations on infection control and hand hygiene.

Training, meeting, briefing |
- Participating in the full number of CME training sessions as regulation by the Ministry of Health.
- Attend training sessions, meetings, and briefings.
- Participate in training for doctors, nurses in the department when required.

Coordinate with other departments |
- Attend consultations when required.
- Issue specific and clear orders for nurses to perform.
- Coordinating with non-medical departments when handling complaints and questions of patients.

Other missions |
- Perform other duties as requested by the Head Endoscopist.
